According to a listing on the Nintendo Switch eShop, Turok will cost $20 when it launches for the platform, and it has been given certain restoration treatments in addition to enhancements via “a new visual engine” along with new features for players to experience. The port for the Big N’s latest piece of gaming hardware is being published and developed by Nightdive Studios.

Turok on Switch will include a bevy of different dinosaur enemies to encounter such as raptors, gun-mounted triceratops, a laser mounted T-Rex, and even some Alien Infantry to face off against. Players will do battle against these enemy types with the help of 14 weapons, including the likes of a grenade launcher, a plasma pulse rifle, a quad rocket launcher, and an atomic fusion cannon.

For those unaware, the Nintendo Switch version of Turok: Dinosaur Hunter won’t be the first instance of the action game being brought to the current generation of gaming hardware. As it so happens, Nightdive Studios put out PC and Xbox One remasters of it and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil not too long ago.

It looks as if those eager to see Seeds of Evil come to Switch, too, won’t have to wait long. As it so happens, Nightdive took to its Discord to confirm to the Twitter user known as “Nitomatta” that the Turok sequel will be arriving on the platform as well.

All things considered, this will likely be a welcome surprise to Turok fans who have had a hankering to play the first-person shooter while on the go. So, hopefully the Nintendo Switch port from Nightdive Studios will do the game justice.

Turok: Dinosaur Hunter is set to launch for Nintendo Switch on March 18, 2019.
