In a press release this week, the audio peripheral company announced that its July 2020 sales in North America were the highest July sales in its history, both in terms of overall revenue and units sold. What’s more, while the company didn’t provide exact numbers, it revealed that its products made for over half of all console headsets sold in the region.

This success was attributed to continuing strong sales of Turtle Beach’s Recon 70 series of wired headsets. The company also took the opportunity to promote its latest products, the Stealth 700 Gen 2 and Stealth 600 Gen 2, the first headsets designed to support both current and next-gen consoles. These both come in PlayStation and Xbox-based versions that feature support for other platforms, and also come with “wireless connectivity, powerful game sound and clear chat, unmatched comfort, and a variety of premium features.”

“July 2020 results continue to demonstrate the strength of the Turtle Beach brand amidst the backdrop of a record-breaking year for the video game industry,” said CEO Juergen Stark, who added that the Recon 70 and Stealth Gen 2 line places the company “in a prime position to continue leading 2020 and beyond as the top gaming headset brand.”
