But following his Wednesday arrest on accusations of assaulting his ex-wife, the Twins have decided to cancel his ceremony and have chosen to not admit him at all.
Knoblauch allegedly hit his ex-wife Cheri, who he divorced in 2012, in the Memorial Village neighborhood in Houston, Texas. He was arrested and released after posting a $10,000 bond.
This is not the first time Knoblauch has had a run-in with the law because of of domestic abuse. In 2010, he was convicted of hitting his then-wife Stacey Stelmach. He was sentenced to one year of probation following the conviction.
