Those who were tuned into JadedBlue’s stream on Wednesday probably got more than they bargained for as they saw the streamer’s cat, Kelsier, ralph onto the streamer’s computer. The Twitch streamer was playing first person shooter game Escape from Tarkov when the cat got on top of the desk above the computer. In the clip of the incident below, JadedBlue asks the cat “what’s the matter buddy?” before poor Kelsier unloads the contents of his stomach all over the streamer’s computer.

Asked how bad the damage to the computer is, on a scale of 1 to 10, JadedBlue gave it an 8 and confirmed that his streams would be offline until he can get the system fixed. Only the SSD, PSU, HDD, and the computer case could be rescued. JadedBlue’s suspicions that the barf had gone right onto the computer’s graphics card were correct and so this will need to be replaced before he can start streaming again.

Some members of the community have rallied around JadedBlue to support the streamer and his deceased computer. One person has created a GoFundMe fundraiser for the streamer, looking to raise $1,000 to go towards the cost of repairing the computer. Jessie Lawrence, the influencer program manager at PC hardware company NVIDIA GeForce also seems to have contacted JadedBlue, saying that he “may be able to help.”

Others though, were a little less supportive. One person jokingly suggested that JadedBlue should have thrown the poorly kitty away from the computer. The Twitch streamer replied “I’m not Alinity,” with Alinity being the Twitch streamer who was accused of animal abuse after being seen throwing her cat over her head, giving it alcohol, and kicking her dog. JadedBlue is a more responsible pet owner, it seems, as the streamer explained that Kelsier is okay, and that he had a stomach bug.

JadedBlue hasn’t revealed when his next stream will be and when the computer may be able to go for repairs. However, the story of the sick cat and the barfed-on computer has earned JadedBlue seven more followers on Twitch. It’s not quite at Ninja levels, but it will be a small win while JadedBlue’s computer is out of action.
