But even as some of its rules might be open to interpretation, Twitch has always had a clear, zero-tolerance policy on ban evasion, which is why TheGrefg was temporarily suspended from the platform earlier this year. In a similar case that transpired around that same time, Twitch banned GMHikaru for watching Dr Disrespect on one of his streams, also citing ban evasion guidelines.

According to Discord bot StreamerBans, Brunenger’s channel was officially reinstated on December 2. In a tweet announcing his return to Twitch, the content creator thanked his fans for their support, inviting them to join him on his comeback stream. The said broadcast was held on December 4, running for over six hours and drawing in more than 350,000 viewers. The Argentinian held another stream on the following day, amassing nearly 200,000 spectators. According to his current schedule, Brunenger intends to hold daily streams for the foreseeable future, indicating that he’s been eager to return to the platform, unlike Dr Disrespect who permanently left Twitch following his mysterious ban.
This was Brunenger’s sixth Twitch ban since early 2020 and by far his longest one to date. The previous five suspensions ran for 19 days combined, whereas this one was only lifted after over 20 months. While serving his latest Twitch ban, Brunenger turned to growing his YouTube channel, which currently sits at around 407,000 subscribers, though it is still only half the size of his Twitch following. It remains to be seen whether his newly packed Twitch schedule will impact his YouTube contributions.
